Abstract :
Oximes having 5-benzyl-2,4-thiazolidinedione were prepared, and their PPAR γ agonistic activities and blood glucose lowering activities were evaluated. Biaromatic and methyl groups, attached to the oxime moiety, and the ethylene bridge between oxime and phenoxy groups are favorable to biological activities.
