Abstract :
Ascochyta blight is the worldʹs most important disease of chickpea that affects the quantitative and qualitative Chickpea yield. Integrated management is essential for control of this disease. To evaluate the effect of integrated management on the disease was conducted in 2010-2011 cropping season, a split-factorial trail based on randomized complete blocks design with three replications was used. Factors including: sowing date at two levels (autumn and spring), seed treatment at three levels (carbendazim, Mancozeb+Tebuconazol and without treatment) and type of cultured genotype at five level (Arman, Hashem, Ilc482, Geritt and Bivahnij). To produce infection, infected plant debris uniformly were distributed between of cultured lines. Statistical analyses showed significant differences among the treatments. The comparison of means showed that sowing in autumn with Arman, Hashem & Ilc482 and sowing in spring with Geritt & Bivahnij was suitable strategy for management of disease in Lorestan province. However seed treatment in this study showed significant effect, and Carbendazim showed better efficiency compared with other seed treatments, effects of seed treatment on reducing of disease severity was not promising.
