Abstract :
This paper reports the first chemical synthesis of α-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-d-galactopyranosyl-O-hydroxylysine, a glycoside of hydroxylysine important as indicator of skin and bone collagen turnover, starting with commercial compounds.
