Generating a Noetherian Normalization of the Invariant Ring of a Finite Group

We improve Kemperʹs algorithm for the computation of a noetherian normalization of the invariant ring of a finite group. The new algorithm, which still works over arbitrary coefficient fields, no longer relies on algorithms for primary decomposition.
