ABSTRACT:In order to investigate the effect of different levels of gibberlic acid on germination and early growth of three cultivars of wheat under salinity stress, the experiment was carried out as factorial based on randomized complete block with four replicates in labratorary of Agronomy and Plant Breeding, agricultural department, Islamic Azad University, Varamin-Pishva branch in 2013. The first factor was four levels of salinity (3.78, 5.95, 10.25 and 12.87 ds/m) and the second factor was three cultivar of wheat (Tajan, Arg, and Pishtaz) had the third factor was four levels of gibberlic acid (GA3) hormone (0, 100, 150 and 200 mg/l). coleoptile and cleorhiza length, cleorhiza number, coleoptile and cleorhiza dry weight, germination percent and number of damaged seeds were measured. The results showed the significant difference among main factor, and their two fold and three fold contractions for germination test at 1% of probability level. But it was not significant for others properties. This study indicated that application of exogenous GA3 treatment for wheat seeds had no significant effect on germination parameters, following salinity.
