Formation of a Steady-State Shock Front of a Fast Magnetosonic Wave in a Turbulent Plasma

The question of the existence of a steady-state shock front of a fast magnetosonic wave propagating across the magnetic field against the background of turbulent Alfvén waves is considered. It is shown that the steady-state shock front can form as a result of energy transfer from the turbulent Alfvén wave to the fast magnetosonic wave.
