Mitral heart disease due to cabergoline

The case of a restrictive valve disease associated with cabergoline, an ergot alkaloid agonist used in the treatment of Parkinsonʹs disease, is described. Cardiovascular and periodical follow-up assessment may be required when these drugs are prescribed.
