Applications of the lifting from char. p of some rational n-fold Original Research Article

Here we prove a lifting from a characteristic p field to the Witt vectors for suitable blowing ups, Xs, of Pn to obtain (if p> n) the Kodaira vanishing needed for the extension in characteristic p of results on suitable embeddings of Xs proved by Geramita et al. [3].
