On Auslander-Reiten components for group algebras Original Research Article

Let Λ be the group algebra of a finite group over a field, and let Θ be a component of the stable Auslander-Reiten quiver of Λ. We show that if the block containing the modules in Θ is not of finite or tame representation type then Θ has tree class A∞.
