Maintaining a balance

Life is amazing! It flows around us every day, allowing our choices to shape it. Our decisions can make it wonderful—or horrible—for us and for those around us. Maintaining the balance required to shape life into what we want it to be is a daunting task each of us must face. The millennium we have entered will bring new trials and opportunities. Never has there been a better or more challenging time to be in nursing and never a time when nursing leadership was needed more. Nursing leaders of the 21st century must show innovation and creativity to help reshape the health care system and maintain the balance needed in that system.
