Recursive solution of Löwner-Vandermonde systems of equations. II Original Research Article

An O(N2) algorithm for the solution of linear systems of equations with an N × N coefficient matrix the first K rows of which form a Vandermonde and the rest a Löwner matrix is developed. The algorithm is based on three-term recursion formulas. It is especially convenient in the case where K ≈ N/2.
