Abstract
A complex square matrix A is called convertible if there is a matrix B obtained by A from affixing ± signs to entries of A such that per A = det B. In this note it is proved that a complex matrix all of whose entrices are taken from a fixed sector of angle π/n is convertible if and only if its support is.
