Abstract
The well-known singular value decomposition theorem states that every matrix M can be written in the form M = QDR, where D is diagonal and Q and R are orthogonal. We explore the analogous decomposition where Q and R are required to be orthogonal with respect to the Minkowski rather than the Euclidean metric.
