Confluent Cauchy and Cauchy-Vandermonde matrices Original Research Article

The s.c. confluent Cauchy and confluent Cauchy-Vandermonde matrices are introduced, corresponding to an interpolation problem with multiple interpolation nodes. Inversion formulas are derived, and a factorization of confluent Loewner matrices by means of confluent Cauchy-Vandermonde matrices is described.
