Elliptic matrices and their eigenpolynomials Original Research Article

The general elliptic matrices are investigated. Some properties are derived. The signs of coefficients of the eigenpolynomials are discussed. The paper generalizes some results presented by M. Fiedler. Furthermore, as an application, Smithʹs result that a simple connected graph is completely multipartite iff it has exactly one positive eigenvalue is reproved.
