Numerical Solution of a System of Generalized Abel Integral Equations Using Bernstein Polynomials

In this paper, a system of generalized Abel integral equations has been solved numerically using Bernstein polynomials. A similar system arises in solving certain mixed boundary value problems of classical theory of elasticity.
