The Application of Mathematic Model of AHP in Economic Decision Making: Multi-Criteria Decision Making

AHP is a strong and instrumental decision-making method which helps the decision-making process of complex decisions with no structure and having various solutions. This method attempts to combine the qualitative and quantitative criteria in decision-making processes which include several factors and principles involved. This method is able to specify the preference of the alternatives involved in the decision-making, so that the decision-maker or the decision-making group would be able to specify the preference of the selection of the best choice, through defining the objective and the involved alternatives for decision.The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analyzes the complicated and complex issues and transforms them into a simplified form and then tries to solve them. This method can be applied to several social and economic issues and has recently been applied to management affairs as well. This articles deals with the explanation of the details and generality of this method and would investigate and analyze the method.
