Abstract :
ABSTRACT:Weed population such as Mouse-Ear Chickweed and Cowherb is increasing in wheat farms in Alashtar area, Lorestan, Iran annually. So an experiment was conducted during order to study effects of different herbicides on this weed population in the area in 2009-2010. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with four replications. The treatments were including Teribenuron, 2-4-D, Solfusolfurun, Teribenuron + 2-4-D, Mesosulfuron+ Sulfosulfuron, Bromocinil + MCPA and Triasolfurun + Terbuterin. In terms of percentage of overall compensation weed, the best treatments were (Teribenuron + 2-4-D), Terbuterin and Mesosulfuron+ Sulfosulfuron (total) that caused 98 and 91 damage percent respectively. Mouse-Ear Chickweed and Cowherb weed were well impressed by herbicides mixed (Teribenuron + 2-4-D) and (Mesosulfuron+ Sulfosulfuron) and damaged more than 98%. These weeds not controlled by herbicides Bromocinil, Triasolfurun + Terbuterin and 2-4-D and the weed density of these treatments were 8 plants per square meter and was caused reduce yield of wheat to 0.9 t/ha.
