Connection between managers’ relational skills and occupational satisfaction of physical education teachers in Kerman province universities

The purpose of this research was to study manager’s relational skills with occupational satisfaction of physical education teachers in Kerman province universities. Research method was correlation and statistical society included all of the sport teachers of Kerman province universities (N=302). Statistical sample (N=150) was chosen on the basis of Coceran, formula and with simple random method. Data collection tools were included relational skills questionnaires Barton G.E, that their justifiable and perpetuity in prior researches were 0/85 and 0/79 respectively and occupational satisfaction questionnaires that their justifiable and perpetuity in prior researches were 0/84 and 0/82 respectively. In this research, we used descriptive statistics to describe data and Pierson correlation test to study relation between two variants. Results of research shows that there were meaningful relation between verbal, audio and reflection skills with occupational satisfaction of teachers in p < 0/05 levels, and also there were sub collections of meaningful provident relational skills in p < 0/05 levels for occupational satisfaction measure. The top relation was verbal skills with r= 0/777. In general, teacher’s occupational satisfaction can be increased by improving the managers relational skills.
