Abstract :
The relationship between the EI30, EI20, EI10 KE > 25, and Kgm rainstorm erosion indices and the thickness of the rainwater layer calculated or observed on the soil surface at an erosion test plot is analyzed. The physical essence of these indices, their applicability to particular types of rain, and their prospects for the implementation of erosion control practices are discussed.
