A theoretical analysis for oxidation of titanium carbide

The oxidation kinetics of titanium carbide (TiC) powder has been studied based on the experimental data summarized as well as theoretical analysis in terms of our model. The effects of temperature, especially the oxygen partial pressure on the oxidation kinetics, are discussed not only qualitatively but also quantitatively in the light of our special theoretical approach.
