Abstract :
This paper continues the analysis of the integrated intensities of substituted benzenes. In particular, the absolute integrated vibrational
intensities of bromobenzene-d5 are presented. The previously reported imaginary molar polarizability spectrum of bromobenzene-d5 was
fitted with 231 CDHO bands. The majority of the bands are assigned to fundamentals, first overtones or binary combinations (sum and
difference). From the fitted parameters, the integrated intensities of the fundamentals have been determined. Using the F-Sum rule, the
intensities are compared to those of bromobenzene-h5. The intensities agreed very well between the two isotopomers.
