Abstract
Application of near infrared diode laser spectroscopy for enhanced investigation of neutral closed shell molecular complexes is reported.
The capabilities of high-frequency wavelength modulation with second derivative absorption detection using a cw supersonic slit jet
expansion are demonstrated by an investigation of the previously unrecorded n1 K ¼ 2ˆ1 P1ðJÞ and P2ðJÞ transitions of OC:Ar with
transitions having signal-to-noise ratios up to 103:1. Subsequently, rovibrational analyses are reported for the hydrogen-bonded interactions:
(i) n1 O13C–H35Cl and O13C–H37Cl in natural abundance; (ii) analysis of a Coriolis perturbation in J0 ¼ 19 of n1 excited state in 14N2–HBr;
(iii) n1; n2 þn15
