Abstract :
One of the fundamental evolutions taken place in organizations management is their reaction towards environmental factors and technologic changes and moving towards organization agility. Agility helps in surmounting unexpected challenges in facing unprecedented threats of work environment and hence makes possible gaining profit and advantage of changes as an opportunity of growth and progress. Current research aims to investigate the relation between organizational culture and agility methods improvement in the rural corporation of water and sewage in Bushehr province in Iran. From the purpose point of view, this research is an applied one and from the methodology point, is categorized as a descriptive and field study. Research population is consisted of all 1000 staff of the rural corporation of water and sewage in Bushehr province in Iran. To define the sample, stratified sampling has been used. The sample size is defined 322 and 319 questionnaires were returned and could be investigated. Data were collected through field method and measurement instrument was the questionnaire. Questionnaire validity was confirmed to an acceptable level through content and face validity and measurement reliability was verified through Chronbachʹ alpha (0.902) . Standardized questionnaire [11,12,21] was used to collect data. In order to analyze the information, acceptability of theoretical model was investigated and then, data analysis was done through path coefficient and T-test by SPSS Software. Results show that the model is usable for the sample defined and model fitness is acceptable. Data analysis shows that culture-oriented organization has positive relation with social norms regarding development of agile system improvement methods. Culture oriented organization has positive relation with value creation capabilities. Culture oriented organization has positive relation with leadership and identity. Value creation capabilities have no positive relation with agile system development methods. Leadership and identity have positive relation with agile system development methods. Social norms of developing improvement methods of agile system have no positive relation with agile system development methods. Non-obligement in using agile system improvement methods has positive relation with agile system development methods.
