Abstract :
An experiment was conducted during one year from 2009 to 2010 at Takestan to
find out the response of Indian mustard`s agronomic traits (parkland cultivar) to
different levels of Nitrogen. The traits including grain yield, harvest index, the
weight of each grain and the biological yield, during 2 planting dates, fall
(2/10/2009) and winter (01/03/2010) were the main factors and Nitrogen
fertilizer as the secondary factor. This study has been done under 5 treatments with
3 replications (N1=0, N2=50, N3=100, N4=150, N5=200 kg /ha). The results
showed that Nitrogen fertilizer, the planting date and the interaction of these two
factors has an important effect on the given traits (p < 0.01). The given traits were
considerably observed during the treatment of 200 kg /ha Nitrogen and in fall
planting more than the other treatments (p < 0.05).
