Abstract :
Seyed Mohammad Ali Jamalzadeh and Martin Walser the german contemporary author both have played a significant role in the literature of Iran and Germany. They have created seemingless literary works by means of their art of writing. In fact, they are distinct from other writers as a result of the great language and style they have used in their writings. The main perpose of the present reaserach is to find the relationship between Seyed Mohammad Ali Jamalzadeh and Martin Walser as the two legends of Literature of Iran and German, and provide direction for further study. Information was collected mainly from literature review and online search. In the first look, a little similarity could be observed between Seyed Mohammad Ali Jamalzadeh’s and Martin Walser’s lives. Both authors had a difficult childhood and youth. While Jamalzadeh was spending his adolescence alone and far from his country, Wlaser lived with his parents but had to work hard to improve the bad economic situation of his family. Both authors achieved their success very late. Jamalzadeh through publishing his short story “Once upon a time” in 1921 and Walser through his short story “An airplane over the house” in 1955 reaped their first fruits of their writing period. Germany is the Walser’s birth and living place till now, where Jamalzadeh spent most of his lifetime. Jamalzadeh published his first short story 34 years before walser. So, we can assume him as a pioneer in the short story area.
