The Behavior of Polyharmonic Cardinal Splines as Their Degree Tends to Infinity Original Research Article

The behavior of cardinal splines interpolating elements of lk2 as their degree tends to infinity in R1 has been determined by I. J. Schoenberg in the 1970s. In this paper we consider the generalized problem in Rn by replacing cardinal splines by polyharmonic cardinal splines.
