Abstract
Spaces of sequences of bounded linear splines defined on arbitrary subsets of R are studied, especially with respect to continuous extensions. An extension problem is solved by establishing a decomposition for the space of spline sequences with respect to the l∞-space on a corresponding subset of Z+×Z. An application to Zygmund spaces on subsets is presented.
