Computer algebra and artificial intelligence Original Research Article

We illustrate the relationship between computer algebra (CA) and artificial intelligence (AI) through several results we have achieved in recent years. We demonstrate that there exists a bridge between these two domains. Specifically, we show that setting CA within a framework of knowledge representation enables us to link computation to deduction. This also leads to embedding CA into a multi-agent system. These results may be viewed as non-standard applications of CA to AI.
