Abstract :
Using microelectromechanical systems and diffraction grating technologies, a novel tunable chromatic dispersion compensator for multichannel wavelength-division-multiplexing signals was developed. Independent channel-bychannel dispersion tuning with flat top loss spectra was experimentally confirmed.
