Abstract :
In this paper, we study the long-time dynamical properties of the solutions of partly dissipative reaction diffusion systems of the form View the MathML source The main result is that, under appropriate assumptions, the large time behavior of a solution is completely determined in certain sense if the large time behavior of the solution is known on a densely chosen yet finite set of points which are called determining nodes, a concept initially introduced by Foias and Temam for the Navier–Stokes equations (Math. Comput. 43 (1984) 117).
