Abstract
In this paper, we study the long-time dynamical properties of the solutions of partly dissipative reaction diffusion systems of the form

The main result is that, under appropriate assumptions, the large time behavior of a solution is completely determined in certain sense if the large time behavior of the solution is known on a densely chosen yet finite set of points which are called determining nodes, a concept initially introduced by Foias and Temam for the Navier–Stokes equations (Math. Comput. 43 (1984) 117).
