Kernel sections for viscoelasticity and thermoviscoelasticity Original Research Article

We prove the existence of compact kernel sections for the process associated with viscoelastic and thermoviscoelastic equations, and obtain a more precise upper bound of the Hausdorff dimension of the kernel sections. According to our result, in the autonomous case with linear damping, the upper bound of the Hausdorff dimension decreases as the damping grows into a suitable large damping.
