A variational inequality approach to thermoviscoelasticity with monotone unilateral boundaries of kinematical and thermal type Original Research Article

In this paper unilateral problems arising in thermoviscoelasticity are formulated and studied. Both kinematic and thermal unilateral boundaries of subdifferential type are considered. Under appropriate assumptions, the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the arising variational inequality problems are proved.
