Existence of global smooth solution to the relativistic Euler equations Original Research Article

In this paper, we prove an existence theorem of global smooth solutions to the Cauchy problem for the one-dimensional relativistic Euler equations. The analysis is based on a priori estimates which are obtained by the characteristic method and maximum principle.
