Abstract :
Interval oscillation criteria are established for second-order differential equations of the form equation(EγEγ Turn MathJax on ) View the MathML source(k(t)x′(t))′+p(t)x(g(t))+q(t)|x(g(t))|γ−1x(g(t))=e(t),t≥0 Turn MathJax on where γ>1;k,p,q,eγ>1;k,p,q,e and gg are continuous real-valued functions; k(t)>0k(t)>0 is nondecreasing; g(t)g(t) is nondecreasing, limt→∞g(t)=∞limt→∞g(t)=∞. We consider g(t)≤tg(t)≤t and g(t)≥tg(t)≥t, separately. Illustrative examples are included.
