Abstract
Thermodynamic properties of rotating quantum systems are calculated. A change in the low energy density of states is induced by rotation and the boundary conditions. This implies a change in the characteristics of the Bose-Einstein condensation (higher TBE, and different exponents). The density of states diverges near resonances of rotation with other frequencies of the system such as the cyclotron frequency in the presence of a magnetic field. Some relevant experimental scenarios are discussed.
