COMPUTER GAMING FOR CHILDREN WITH MENTAL RETARDATION

Computer gaming is usually viewed to be a negative and undesirable activity for children (including CWSN). However, we found it to be useful to a great extent in dealing with skilldeficiency among children with mental retardation. The present paper discusses our empirical research in this area. Our study aimed to assess the effect of computer gaming on attention & memory of children with mental retardation. The results indicated strong support for believing that practicing computer games increases attention and memory of children with mental retardation.
