Abstract :
We consider an interacting particle system residing in the sites of a regular lattice and evolving according to a stochastic dynamics. Our dynamics is constituted by Markovian processes which possess the same symmetries of the three-state Potts model. Each site of the lattice can be in three states and the local rules comprehends interactions between first neighbors which depend on a parameter . Performing numerical simulation we observed that the model exhibits a phase transition as the parameter is varied. We also analyze the universal character of this nonequilibrium phase transition.
