Abstract :
The effects of the atomic motion and of the field-mode structure, on the evolution of the field entropy and the production of the Schrödinger-cat state are examined in the Jaynes–Cummings model. The results show that the atomic motion and the field-mode structure play an important role in the evolution of the field entropy and the generation of the Schrödinger-cat state and some new conclusions can be obtained.
