Phase transitions for point particle systems

This note is about a recent results obtained by Lebowitz, Mazel and Presutti, [10], [11], who have proved a liquid-vapor phase transition for a system of identical point particles in two or more dimensions interacting with finite range, Euclidean symmetric potentials.
