Probing complexities at the subnuclear level of matter

Theoretical arguments and experimental evidences are presented showing that concepts and methods in science of complex systems, in particular those related to self-organized criticality, are very useful in describing and understanding a number of phenomena observed in inelastic high-energy collision processes.
