The Impact of Play Therapy on Developmental Fears among Preschoolers

ABSTRACT: The current research is intended to study the impacts of play therapy to on reducing developmental fears among the preschoolers. 46 subjects have been selected through a randomly Cluster Sampling method in a male and female elementary Schools in Tehran. They were divided in to two Test and experimental groups by using the questionnaire of developmental fears which were completed by the parents. There the test group was given the play therapy method trough 12 sessions of 40 minutes. The research method is Bodo’s sub experimental methodology and Covariance analysis method was applied to analyze the data. The results showed that play therapy was influential in reducing developmental fears among the preschoolers.
