Asymptotic correlations at the spectrum edge of random matrices Original Research Article

Edge correlation functions among the eigenvalues are evaluated for Laguerre and Jacobi ensembles of real-symmetric and self-dual quaternion random matrices of infinite dimension. Universal and non-universal behavior of the eigenvalue correlations is found.
