Bethe ansatz for the Izergin-Korepin model Original Research Article

By using the reflection equations, we prove the integrability of the general exactly solvable models with open boundary conditions. For the Izergin-Korepin model, we find a diagonal solution of the reflection equation. Using the algebraic Bethe ansatz method, we solve the eigenvalue problem of the Izergin-Korepin model with this diagonal reflecting matrix, the corresponding Bethe ansatz equations are obtained.
