The relationship between spatial intelligence and reaction time

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between spatial intelligence and reaction time. Hence, a total of 60 Iranian M. A students majoring in TEFL at Islamic Azad Universities of Ilam and Najafabad were selected to participate in the study. Participants’ performance across two separated groups was examined through scores they obtained on RSIT, and Reading Comprehension Test. Reaction time recording software was designed and installed on the computer. This software enables us to show the texts on the monitor and provides the multiple questions after each text. This software recorded the reaction time of the participants while answering the questions. The data were analyzed by means of SPSS software version 19. Tukey test was run to see, if there is any difference between the levels of spatial intelligence in term of the reaction times of route and survey comprehension tests.
