Abstract :
The Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) is Iranʹs largest stock exchange, which first opened in 1967. The most important advantage that Iranʹs capital market has in comparison with other regional markets is that there are 37 industries directly involved in it. The aim of this research is to surveying the effect of dividend policies on future earnings in Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) using Panel Data approach for periods 2005-2011. Results showed that changes of earnings per share in future periods have a significant on stock return. Also findings confirmed that the companies are managing the profits and reported profits do not necessarily means the profitability of the stocks.
