Abstract
Mucin1 is one of mucin gene family located on the cell membrane. mucin membrane First was
found as a molecular detection single colony antibodies of mouse cells surface. Mucin1 has a
major role in drugs delivery and another therapeutic system. According to studies mucin1 has a
direct effect on important economical traits such as milk and fatty milk production, fertility,
Pregnancy, carcass traits and the ressistance aginest disseses. In the reproductive tract of the
female animal mucin has an important role in controlling embryo implantation. Mucin protein role in
uterine can be a sign of fertility differences. Animals that contain the gene and more sequences of
mucin gene are superior than others in reproductive traits and the acquired immune and resistance
to diseases. This gene is located on buffalo chromosome 3. In order to study mucin gene
polymorphism 80 buffalo in the khozestan province were randomly bled. DNA extracted from blood
samples and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplified fragment of 300 bp of gene was
performed. DdeI Restricted enzymes were used for enzymatic digestion. Based on the results of
the frequency of genotype AA was 100 percent and the frequency of AB, BB were zero. A allele
frequency in this population is1 and B allele frequency is zero. Because of selection population
size, mutation, migration and genetic drift the hardy-weinberg equilibrium in the Buffalo herd was
not established
