Rural Tourism and Its Importance in Develop Plans of Iran

Rural tourism is considered as one of the most important economic activities in today’s world and can play a decisive role in the thriving of local economy as well as helping to improve the economic growth of countries in large scale. The most important rural tourism economy approach is the optimization and sustainable utilization of natural resources and rural ecosystems. It increasingly focuses on social and cultural aspects of living and GDP growth. Meanwhile, its alignment with the natural environment and natural resources is important in its extension. Natural resources and rural tourist attractions of Iran are treasures that should be better preserved in order to expand internal and foreign tourism and efficient use and effective management of this industry. Therefore, in accordance with cultural, economic, social conditions guidelines are presented. This paper is based on comparative descriptive research on national and international experience. The results and findings of this study suggest that according to the extent of natural attractions in Iran, rural tourism development and efficient use of existing resources and attractions can be effective in different aspects of rural areas of Iran. Finally, with regard to the characteristics of rural communities, a theoretical model according to rural tourism conditions in Iran is suggested
