Abstract :
In this paper, we enumerate image-noncrossing RNA pseudoknot structures with a given minimum arc- and stack-length. That is, we study the numbers of RNA pseudoknot structures with arc-length image, stack-length image and in which there are at most image mutually crossing bonds, denoted by image. We prove that the numbers ofimage-noncrossing RNA structures with arc-length image and stack-length image satisfy image. In the case image, we derive image, image, and image, respectively, where image are constants. Our results are of importance for prediction algorithms for RNA pseudoknot structures.
