Abstract :
Canola can be planted in most areas of Isfahan that have cold and mild warm weather. Winter planting of spring canola requires the introduction of suitable cultivars for new planting conditions. In addition of cultivars, therefore it is necessary to study different planting dates. The present study was conducted in the split plot design with the lay out randomized complete block design and four replications in Kabutar Abad region. Four planting dates 3 February 2009, 13 February 2009, 23 February 2009 and 5 marches 2009 were implemented as primary factors in main plots and Sarigol, Hyola401, RGS003 and Hyola 308 as secondary factors in secondary plots. Planting date had no significant effect on weight of thousand seeds, number of pod per plant, number of seed per pod and oil yield. Cultivars had no significant effect on seed yield, oil yield and number of pod per plant while there were differences from the number of seed per pod, weight of thousand seeds, during the grain filling period, grain filling rate and oil percentage. Grain yield was strongly influenced by planting date. The maximum amount of oil yield and seed yield was related to 3 February and on the other hand, the minimum amunt was related to 5 march. According to the results planting date in 13 February and RGS003 cultivar are suggestable to farmers.
